Welcome to ViksenPhoto. My name is Shelley Matheis. I have been working as a professional photographer for over 15 years. I was born and raised in the Greater Vancouver area. I have a fine arts diploma from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in photography. In 2008 I relocated to Penticton, BC. I think the Okanagan is one of the most beautiful places in the country, and enjoy all the opportunities it gives as a backdrop for images of all our special moments. I use a mixture of traditional poses mixed with photo-documentary style images to capture not just who was there, but the emotions felt. Please contact me to document your special moments, be in your engagement and wedding, or pregnancy and birth. Don't let the little days slip by either. Family photos are important to all of us, as well as special events with family and co-workers. If you have historic family images I can restore them to their original beauty, erasing the years and any damage that has come with them. I can erase wrinkles and tears, remove sun or water damage (or an unwanted subject)
